With the introduction of the UHPC (Ultra-HighPerformance Concrete) which is reinforced with fibre, 70% percent less material is required than ordinary casting so form could get rid of the chunky stereotype. We were able to cast concrete forms that are much thinner than usual but with higher capacity.
After several trial on fabricate curved surfaced origami with phyiscal model and Kingkong/Grasshopper, we then did a mold made with CNC cut PVC sheet and other daily materials. The model results in a thickness of 1cm, casted silky on both sides.
